Together, we reside in Eastern North Carolina. We have two dogs, a chocolate lab named Chip and a golden retriever named Oakley. On top of that, we have one aquarium and a orange tabby cat named Ginger.
In my down time you can find me windows down, music up, heading straight for the beach. I enjoy taking the scenic route, morning devotionals, and hot cups of coffee!
First of all, thank you for swinging by my About Me Page. Lets get straight to the good stuff! I am a lover and worshipper of Jesus first and foremost. You can find me behind the camera and serving at Open Door Ministries on Sundays. I married my absolute best friend Dean in December of 2023. I have been blessed with two beautiful children that are ages 13 and 11. You may see one of my "assistants" tagging along to carry my bag and helping out!

I love birds! As a child I remember my mother and I having a bird feeder at home. We would watch them from our kitchen window. Together her and I would look up birds and learn about each one that came to visit. I love seeing their beautiful markings and colors. For Christmas my husband bought me a bird feeder with a camera on it and it sends me notifications when each one stops to eat. At night I enjoy pulling up my recorded bird videos! I am a crazy bird lady!
tell me one fact about yourself
The truth about me is that I thrive at night. I have and probably always will be a night owl. My morning routine consists of hitting the snooze button a couple times. My first stop each and every morning is COFFEE. My weakness is a Starbucks Iced White Mocha with 4 pumps of Toffee Nut Syrup. Bribing me with coffee is a sure way to get me up and moving in the morning!

Besides photography I enjoy decorating! One of my favorite feelings is walking into a clean cozy home after a long day. My favorite pit stop on the weekend would be Kirklands or Hobby Lobby! I have an over abundance of scented candles and fake plants, but I am unashamed!
what other hobbies do you have?
Have you ever heard the saying "sometimes what you are looking for is right under your nose?" This saying rings true when it comes to meeting my husband. It was many years after first being introduced that we started dating. Maybe love at first sight wasn't our thing, but let me tell you he has my heart. I am truly blessed to have married my very best friend!

Don't ever ask me to pick a restaurant unless you are okay with hitting a Mexican joint. There is just something about starting my meal off with chips and queso that makes me happy. I don't have a go to dish because lets be honest, they are all soo good! I will say I am usually opt for a quesadilla or a burrito. Now that I'm typing this, I think I'll treat myself to Mexican for lunch!

How many times have you gone through photos in your life and thought "Wow, I forgot about that!" or seen photos of yourself as a child and don't remember them at all? I am here to capture memorable times in your life. Rather it be your wedding day, newborn photos, family photos, couples, engagement, whatever the case may be.. you will not ever get those moments back. Your kids will never be this small again.
